As our longest Tenured brand at Buckeye at over 25 years, we have seen Stingray develop into one of the top 4 brands in the industry for bowriders 18-24 feet!  Stingray provides one of the best values in the market for bowriders under 25' with an emphasis on styling, sleek looks and unbeatable performance & effieciency. Take a look at this page to see some of the reasons why you need to take a look at the Stingray Advantage.

Performance: We like to compare the performance and handling of a Stingray to a finely tuned sports car. However, you also get the plush, spacious amenities and ride of an SUV. So, dad can be happy behind the wheel and mom can be happy lounging in the spacious open bow or rear sundeck. This performance advantage is due to Stingray's patented Z-Plane Hull, which allows for water to flow underneath the hull undisturbed so that the prop receives a full water blast- not a water/air bubble mix. This results in quicker acceleration out of the hole (also note the built-in sport trim tabs) and a higher top-end speed. There is no boat that performs as well as a Stingray!

Fuel Efficiency: Because of the higher top-end speed of a Stingray, Stingray customers rarely go above ¾ throttle, allowing for fewer RPM on average. Thus, less fuel being burned (and less engine stress too!). When comparing to other I/O's, Stingray is almost always at least 20% better in fuel consumption and as high as 50% better. When compared to similarly sized Jet Drives, Stingray can be up to 150% better!!! Also keep in mind that in most Stingray models, the popular engine is usually smaller that the one in competitive brands. This obviously helps in efficiency as well.

Production Process: All of Stingray's hulls originated in a computer aided design technology process. In fact, Stingray was the first company to do this. All of the hull's use the proven 100% hand laid to assure consistency in the resin and gelcoat (ALL upper end boat companies use this method- it is proven to be the best!). Stingray's uses the same high-grade outer gelcoat that is used by companies such as Cobalt and Grady White. In addition the colored hull stripe that you see on a Stingray is 100% gelcoat- It comes out of the original mold with the color already there. No paint or decals make for a longer lasting boat!
